Harry’s Ace Hardware, Wauwatosa Ace Hardware and St. Francis Ace Hardware are family-owned and operated local hardware stores serving the Franklin, Greendale, Oak Creek, St. Francis, Bay View, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and Milwaukee communities.

Harry and Chris Gil first opened Harry’s True Value Hardware store in West Allis in February of 1985. Harry and Chris purchased the business from Tim O’Brian in 1985. In 2000, the Gil family moved the hardware store to Franklin in its current location on 76th and Rawson. In 2011 we joined the Ace family and haven’t looked back.
On April 1st 2019 the Gil family opened their 2nd location in Wauwatosa taking over the old Puhl’s True Value on 68th & Milwaukee Ave. We are excited to extend our family-owned and operated business with our wonderful new neighbors in the Wauwatosa and Milwaukee area.
On June 1st 2022 the Gil family opened their 3rd location in St. Francis taking over the old Greg’s True Value on Layton Ave. We are excited to extend our family-owned and operated business with our wonderful neighbors in the St. Francis, Cudahy, and Bay View area.
